Nickname;

Started Playing;   When I was 11 at School but like an idiot gave up. I didn't get back into it until I was an adult (and that's scary believe me!) My son was playing and I wanted to give it another try so I bought the cheapest trombone I could find and went from there.

Length of time at Boarshurst;    January 2009.

Previous Band/s;   Grange School Band, The Oldham Band (Lees).

Best Moment in Banding;   Winning 3rd Section at Pontins 2008. It wasn't necessarily my favourite performance but as it was my last contest with Oldham Band(Lees) it meant a lot to win.

Worst Moment in Banding;   The sudden realisation that no matter how hard you work and how much input you give - band politics can rule the day! Both internal and external - and regardless of the moral implications. (that's a bit intense isn't it!?)

Favourite Test Piece;   Facets of Glass or Spectrum.

Future Hopes and Wishes;   To see the rebuild of Boarshurst as a successful venture.
